FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are the panels so thin?

Our panels are intentionally designed to be lightweight and flexible for easy installation. This allows most customers to cut them with basic tools such as scissors or a utility knife. Thicker panels would be significantly more difficult to cut, heavier to install, and much more expensive to ship. Despite their lightweight construction, our panels are durable and designed to provide a beautiful decorative finish.

Are these panels peel-and-stick?

No. Our PVC wall panels require construction adhesive for installation. We recommend using a high-quality construction adhesive such as Liquid Nails Heavy Duty (LN-901).

Do I need to use construction tape during installation?

Yes. We strongly recommend using construction tape to hold the panels in place while the adhesive cures. Leave the tape on for approximately 5–10 hours to ensure proper bonding and long-lasting results.

Can I install these panels in a bathroom or kitchen?

Yes. Our panels are moisture-resistant and suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and other interior spaces exposed to humidity and occasional water splashes.

Can I paint these panels?

Yes. The panels can be painted using paint suitable for PVC surfaces. Proper surface preparation and primer may improve adhesion and durability.

Are the panels made of real stone, brick, or marble?

No. These panels are made from durable PVC and are designed to replicate the appearance of stone, brick, marble, and other decorative wall finishes.

Can the panels be installed on textured or uneven walls?

Yes. The flexible PVC material can adapt to minor wall imperfections and textured surfaces. However, excessively uneven surfaces may affect the final appearance.

Are the panels waterproof?

The panels themselves are water-resistant and suitable for humid environments. However, proper installation and sealing are recommended in areas exposed to direct water.

Are the panels fireproof?

No. These panels are not fireproof. Do not install them near open flames, burning stoves, fireplaces, or other direct heat sources.

Can I install the panels myself?

Yes. Most customers complete installation themselves using common household tools. The panels can typically be cut using scissors or a utility knife.

What do I do if a panel doesn’t adhere properly?

Make sure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free of dust. Verify that adhesive has been applied evenly and use construction tape to hold the panel in place for 5–10 hours while the adhesive cures.

Can I remove the panels without damaging my wall?

Removing the panels may damage paint, drywall, wallpaper, or other wall finishes. If you are renting, we recommend consulting your landlord before installation.

Can the panels be installed outdoors?

No. Our panels are designed for interior use only and are not UV-resistant. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fading, discoloration, or warping.

Will the panels look exactly like real stone or brick?

Our panels are designed to provide a realistic decorative appearance, but they are made from PVC and should not be mistaken for real stone, brick, marble, or wood upon close inspection.

How do I clean the panels?

Simply wipe them with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.

How much wall area does one box cover?

Each box contains 10 panels and covers approximately 53 square feet of wall space.
